VAMPIRE (PRP) FACIAL
Service Description
Vampire Facial (PRP Facial) at Elevate by Emilie Eve Unlock your skin's natural regenerative power with our Vampire Facial, also known as a PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Facial. This innovative treatment uses your body's own healing properties to rejuvenate and revitalize your skin, providing a natural glow and improved texture. What to Expect: The Procedure: The Vampire Facial begins with a small blood draw, typically from your arm. This blood is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the rest of the blood components. The PRP, which is rich in growth factors, is then applied to your face using a combination of microneedling and direct application. This process stimulates collagen production, promotes healing, and enhances the skin's overall appearance. Pre-Procedure Recommendations: Hydration: Ensure you are well-hydrated before the procedure, as this helps with the blood draw and enhances your skin's responsiveness to the treatment. Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as aspirin or fish oil) for at least 3-5 days prior to the treatment unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider. No Makeup: Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup, to ensure the best results. Post-Procedure Expectations: Redness and Swelling: Expect some redness and mild swelling immediately after the treatment, similar to a sunburn. This usually subsides within a day or two. Skin Sensitivity: Your skin may feel sensitive, tight, or slightly dry as it heals. This is a normal part of the process. Minimal Downtime: While there is minimal downtime, you may want to avoid social events for a day or two until the initial redness fades. Post-Procedure Recommendations: Gentle Cleansing: Cleanse your face gently with a mild cleanser, such as the Gentle Cream Cleanser by Clinical Skin, which is ideal for post-procedure care. Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated with a quality hyaluronic acid serum and a hydrating moisturizer. We recommend our Clinical Skin line, which is specially formulated for post-treatment care. Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight and use a high-SPF sunscreen to avoid UV damage during the healing process. No Exfoliation: Avoid using exfoliating products or harsh treatments for at least a week to allow your skin to heal properly. Ask About Post-Treatment Products :-)
